I try to always be working on something for myself: projects like this aren’t about producing anything in particular, they’re a form of play, play is a way of exploring, and the best part of life is exploring it. To this end, my wife and I have written a book on the culture of our home region, called Southeast Louisiana Food: A Seasoned Tradition. But thats not all I work on.
On this site, I have several slow-burn series running, including:
Dogs I Have Known, exploring my relationships with the dogs in my life.
A Life Abroad, discussing my ongoing life on the road.
Its like this means something, but we’ve both forgotten what it is, a photographic exploration of the disappearance and decay of technology into the ubiquity of the every day.
